Here are a few pictures from the barn yesterday. I tried to get pictures of the horses that people on here have shares of but there was a lot of activity in the barn yesterday. Many of the horses that have arrived lately still did have their names on their stalls so in some cases it was hard to know who was who (especially the horses that just arrived the day before fron the Harrisburg sale). I'm not sure if I'll make it back before the open house if we have one but at some point I'll get some additional pictures.

Very cool. Thanks Mark. Prada scares me. She has a tiny head and wont win any photos. Love Lou, hate his name he looks like the working mans horse. Hmmm, I'm retired. 🙂

Ed, Prada is a nice looking horse but is on the small side, she reminds me of Aunt Sara last year. Aunt Sara was in the barn yesterday and looks to have grown some, hopefully Prada will do the same. Lou is also a nice looking horse, just being there for short time he's an easy horse to like. For me sometimes that's just as important as a good pedigree and conformation. The horse that really grew on me yesterday was Cloud Rider, I'll be picking up a few more shares when I can. Of the yearlings I bought into the only one I had any concerns about was Frolic, she's also on the small side.

Lonnie, I've never checked the actual mileage but probably about 110 miles, depending on traffic and construction it's about a two hour drive.

That sounds like a manageable drive to see the horses and/or races.  I'd do it frequently if I had that opportunity.

It's not a bad drive at all and I wish I could do it more often than I do.  Without going into detail I do have some health issues that sometimes limits my ability to travel.

I'm sorry to hear that. Hopefully, it's something you can completely overcome.
