Driver vs. Trainer: Who is more important?
Quote from Niatross on November 8, 2024, 9:32 AMI'd venture to say it's the driver. The Trainer does all s/he can to get the horse ready, but the Driver's on-track decisions will have a major impact on the result.

Quote from Purple Aura on November 8, 2024, 10:56 AMI'll the trainer. Trainer spends most of time with the horse. Makes him what he is. If the driver drives poorly. Get a new driver. Both obviously important.ย
Damn, something being discussed here? Everyone slooooooooooooooooow down. I'm getting dizzy.ย

Quote from Bgtolex25 on November 8, 2024, 10:06 PMDonโt give up Purple! ย I will second you on the trainer. ย Getting these equine athletes to perform at a high level is extremely difficult when the athletes in question do not fully appreciate what the heck it is all about. ย I will also say that the entire staff, not just the trainer, better be fully engaged and proficient at their respective duties.
