Overdue Introductory Post

Hi everyone, I’m Amber!

I joined TheStable earlier this year but have increased my involvement a little more over the last few months. I’m from Ontario, but the shares I currently have are quite a variety:

I’m fairly new to the racing side of things. I spent about 15 years teaching riding lessons and leading horse camps on a private farm, and was a caretaker for a few different standardbred trainers throughout 2018 (which will forever be remembered as the toughest freakin’ job I’ve ever had!).
I’m a full time Flight Medic for an Air Ambulance company based here in ON, so this has been a perfect way for me to stay involved with horses despite my chaotic schedule.

It’s great to meet you all!
Hopefully we are partners on a few horses and will get the chance to celebrate a good year going forward

We share Georgeofthejungle, so good luck this Saturday.  He's been racing well as of late and Brett gets along with him well.

Welcome to the Forum!

 

We share ownership in three horses. 

 

La Doriane was fantastic today. What a great drive by Anthony and a great effort by the filly. 

We also have Luvin Affection and Serious Dragon in common. 

Good luck to all of your horses.  Especially the three we have in common! 🙂

Hi Amber. Welcome to the Forum. We have only been in existence for a few weeks. I'm trying hard to attract new members.  How did you learn of the Forum?

 

If you haven't entered our free handicapping challenge there's still time.  Leg three closes at noon tomorrow. 

No one has pulled away from the field.  In fact the leaders aren't far ahead at all. Everyone still has a good chance to win.  As a result, the smack talk has been minimal. In fact it's non-existent. Which is right online with our Rules and Regulations.

Hi Amber, thank you for your service as a first responder 🙂 . 

Great having an experienced horse enthusiast like yourself too, we have many diverse backgrounds of folks, as you know you're of course already partnered in the Stable with Members as I saw and some have already pointed out, and you'll be learning and teaching us hopefully too - fun fun fun.  The best of luck, excitement and success with your stable of babies!
