Purchased a Share of Capistrano Nights

We took one of the last three shares of Capistrano Nights that was on the Public Market. Capistrano Nights looked great at the Open House, and made Jason and Anthony's Top 10 list.

We are about to likely lose two horses (Casanova Hall and Southwind Idexx), and we felt the vacuum. The sadness of losing Casanova Hall led to retail therapy 😉

I'm not sure why I waited so long but I finally boarded the "Night" train. This will be my third year in a row with a two year old Lather Up filly and after watching Anthony's video this evening it appears all three share the same personality and demeanor, hopefully that equals the same results on the track.

I assume Gorgeous Package was last year's. Who was the year before?

Yes on Gorgeous Package. The other horse was before any ownership at The Stable, her name is Hot Shave. She had a pretty decent two year old year but missed some time due to tying up, including the BSS Consolation.

I've attached a photo of Ronnie Wrenn Jr driving her (#8) in the BSS at Scioto, you may recognize the guy sitting behind the other horse (Venice Blue Chip). Hot Shave is a bit bigger than Capistrano Nights and Gorgeous Package. Since being sold she has 2 wins a second and a third in 4 starts.

@pcmark15 did Hot Shave race without any boots? Hard to tell if she has dark tendon boots or at least bandages in the photo. The Lather Ups seem very athletic on video and clean gaited. Sadly, I have yet to see one up close in person. Love your purchase of Capistrano Nights and kicking myself that I didn’t get in on the bargain prices a few weeks back. When the New York Connection bought into the public shares, it started a run on the remaining shares. I deliberated too long. Best of luck.

@bgtolex25 no she didn't wear any boots and had a very nice gait. Her and Gorgeous Package seem to have alot in common, hopefully that carries over to Capistrano Nights too. I also missed out on the bargain prices but did get a pretty good deal on the private market.
