Ohio Sale. Early call Hip #72. Over or under 100,000? That's my favorite the first time thru.

It is my favourite time of the year, yearling sale season.

Time to study again.

All the In Ranges are going to go at big prices. Including #72. Always liked Favorite Aunt. Think she raced against Aunt Lilly and came on late in her 2yo season. I don't think The Stable has had a In Range yearling yet. Let's see if that changes this September.

Photo of Degas finishing 2nd today.  I was going to break protocol and go from the judges stand to the Winners Circle if she won.  Same with Jailbird Jog, but by then I had moved down to the box seats to work on my charting exercises.  JJ looked like she would have won if able to get thru or out.

Beautiful weather day in the Bluegrass.  Lower temps and humidity with no threats of storms.  Pining for fall.  Let me know if anyone is coming down to horse and bourbon country.

I was waiting for an inquiry in JJ's race. I assume judges did a quick review and saw nada. JJ showed she is capable of more than one move.

Honestly, I had left the judges stand and was down below.  More to issue, I would have stayed quiet about it anyway.  Just so thankful that they allow me behind the scenes.  I did see one venue (Harrah’s PA?) that provides an email link to the Presiding Judge encouraging the public to ask questions as you posed.  I thought that was a good outreach move.
