I have no insight, but just an observation of the KY Proud Series finals currently racing at The Red Mile. Races 1 and 3 were won by Carter Pinske trained, Dr. Madonna Morrison (Lexington) owned horses. Ronnie G had been the trainer and driver up until today.
If this was a planned switch to a KY based trainer, then it sure would have been nice to let Ronnie complete the Proud Series. Regardless, I hope that they give him a % of the trainer earnings from these 50k races.
And keep an eye on the 3 year old Ohio pacing colt, My Boy Pank. Owned by Kentucky Wildcat basketball legend, Sam Bowie. Ronnie G had him last year. Now in Alagna’s barn and fresh off a 1:50 win at Scioto.
Interesting coming after Big Ranger’s transfer.
Looks like a good crowd at The Red Mile. Not there this week, as I am camping down at Cumberland Lake area.
