I am in Battle Ground, WA, which is about 30 miles NE of Portland, OR.  Originally from Ohio and still have connections there.  We have been in WA for 32 years, but

.looking to relocate to Lexington, KY next spring.  Hence, the user name.

Happy to be here.

Know I understand your username.  Thank you for the explanation!

Millions!  Like a good fishing story, the amount grows through each retelling!  Thanks for sharing!

My last venture to Greenwood Raceway was in November 1980 to see Niatross.  D@mn it was cold that day!  I still get shivers thinking about it (the weather?  Niatross?).  If memory serves me correctly the wind chill was 75° F degrees below ZERO!  (That number may be inflated due to the passing of time.  Like a good fish story!)

I'm from Ontario.  I also was at Greenwood that day.  I actually had a connection to the race.  For a short period of time I cared for a horse Armbro Turk who was in the race.

Yes.  A number of OJC trainers at the time used to turn horses out at a farm I worked at in Rockwood.

Are you still involved in the backside part of the industry?
