Yesterday, my New York friends and I visited both the Jugette and Jug barns at the fairgrounds. The barns are beautiful, and the horses look slick and powerful. We stumbled into a conversation with a couple of people there, and ended up chatting with Anthony Beaton, who trains both Legendary Hanover and Nijinsky. He was happy to talk with us. Harness racing is full of really approachable folks.
