I don't know if Anthony was complacent or overconfident.  He didn't appear to urge her at all in the stretch.

The 1st heat will determine the pp for the final.  The winner will get assigned pp1, 2nd place will get pp2, etc.

The winner of the second heat will be the winner.  This change has been in place for a few years.  Remember when It’s My Show won the Jug’s 2nd heat despite not winning his elimination?  It is hard enough to get anyone to go 2 heats.  Imagine if there were 3 heats!
