An emergency board meeting was just convened of the New York Connection conglomerate.

There was only one item on today's agenda.

We unanimously passed a resolution to purchase one share of Fox Valley Snapper.

We paid a $40 premium on the private market over what he was recently offered for publicly.

Did one of you just pocket a quick $40 profit from us? If so, you're welcome! I hope we earn back many multiples of what you just gave up on! 😉

Not me. I stopped betting Illinois harness twenty years ago. The reason? Every horse was named Fox Valley This or Fox Valley That. Seemed like a conglomerate. I bailed. I will never have a Fox Valley. Ever.
