Stop the insanity. Friendly fire? Tell me I'm missing something. Please. Also up at 445 to jog in NY/NJ. Then off to Meadows, then Scioto. You're 50 years old. You don't have to prove to us you work hard. Talk me down.....lol

Ed.  I feel for you.  AMac has many positive attributes and what he has done for increased participation in a fledgling industry puts 99% of the other trainers to shame.  I wished that he would focus on the day to day training, communicating and marketing, but retire from driving.  He is far from the worse driver, but it takes focus away from the rest.  His staff isn’t as strong as the colony of drivers that he could employ.  (Talk to anyone…the lack of quality help is being felt by all the stables.  If Amy is in NY with just a few horses, then that makes it even worse back in Ohio.)

We should create a GoFundMe to get some counseling for @purple-aura.  I can't imagine what I would be feeling right now if it were me.

We will NEVER hear that race commentary. Loooooooooooooou's next start is supposed to be Saturday 7-11 OSS Scioto. Schedule says Saturday 7-12. Sunday will be 7-12, I think the race is Saturday. Regardless breaks maiden on 6-25, Next Gen 7-4, first OSS 7-11. Will this be three races in sixteen days if we go? During this time pretty nasty heat wave. If it's 80-85 on the track it's 90-95 in barns and paddocks. Why not let Ronnie go? He will take you to the far turn and if you try him again tip out you're at worst second and AWAY FROM THE FUCKING PASSING LANE. And you rest him a bit going into that final turn.

Looooooooooooou will have three races in 16 days and stretched out in a heat wave.

Prada     Liver level way to high and a ulcer in her eye.

Perfect Instead   breaks in first turn falls back and for some reason charges back then suddenly her knees are sore.

You don't have to prove to us you work hard, we know, and quite frankly all of us older than you worked our asses off at that age too. Kids today say work smarter not harder. Seem about right. Woke up pissed still. Tell me I'm wrong. Also power in house random last few days after storms adding to my anger/fuel. Talk me down.....lol

Yep, the driving endlessly to drive seems to not be a productive use of time. On Tuesday at Oak Grove Yannick drives Degas and on Wed Dexter drives Solidarity. That's a good plan.

If one has a small barn and is owner, trainer, driver, that's the way it is.

thestable is not a small barn. As Norm mentioned in another thread, concentrate on one's stemgths.

Two HUGE offers for Looooooooooooooooou. Thinking of selling my last share to help pay for my counseling. 🙂

I made up mind to accept the offer. Went back and I was beat to the punch. There will be more hopefully. I think what upsets me the most is Anthony saying if he could do it over again he would do the same thing. Really? This " little" colt, his words has to race again in eight days. I respect him standing his ground, I've been in that position myself. It's opened my eyes though. If he lets Ronnie go what's the worst that happens? They had so much momentum on the field he sits in the pocket until the far turn and comes out to challenge? I like and respect Anthony but he's a much better trainer than driver.

I hope that you look back on the missed opportunity to sell as a blessing.

1/9 and let loose to a 1:02 crawl to the 1/2.  Training mile for Lou.  As for the future, he will be rightly going to the OSS.  Somebody explain why he will need AMac’s steering?

Next Gen aside. I'm okay with AMac on the Ohio circuit. I just don't care for the attitude I wouldn't change a thing from that drive. Speaking of Looooooooooooooou and his mama My Jazz, she's bred to Captain Corey and there will be shares for sale via The Stable homebred soon. I emailed and said if they were less than 500.00 I'd be interested in multiple shares. He said the shares will be over 500.00. How much do you think he'll ask? I'm not sure I've ever paid over 500.00 for a share.

Monis Tied Up was CA$560, Lou was CA$320 and Travel Blog was CA$690. I suspect you are looking at around the price of Travel Blog. But remember the horse don't know what they cost... Looking at you Highland Firen Ice...
