Ohio Trotters and Next Gen

Page 1 of 13Next

Just listened to Anthony's video. It's very early but right now I think he likes Tomboy Strong as best Ohio trotting filly. I was thinking ( rare for me) Maybe the first of each month we record which Ohio trotter both Colt and Filly we like as the Ohio nominee to the Next Generation. This will show how much the horses change be it coming forward or regressing. We will have it documented. Fillies seemed pretty stacked with Sara, Bobbie, Judys Moni, Meghan as a sleeper? I still like Jolene Hall. If no one likes the idea, all good. I think it would be interesting seeing the ups and downs and how we see it between now and early July. If no one participates we can make this thread more of a Ohio yearling thing. I'm leaving out the pacers because there's only one colt and two fillies. Hope others participate. Time to go shovel snow.

I like it.  Would you propose that each participant rank them 1 thru whatever and post each month?  Or keep it simple and select the top one each month?

I have not watched latest video. I have a share of Tomboy. I was there last year. I had a share of RR Ajay, also had a share of Freedom Hill, but Aunt Lilly got the nod and the win. I'll probably hit Hoosier for the Fireworks on the 4th (place was packed last year) and then on to Dayton (nice crowd last year).

I think we just label it March 1st. Filly Aunt Sara. Colt Super Mind. Honoring trust in advertising maybe place a asterisk next to the horse if you have shares. My yearling buying theory is always Ohio filly trotters they seem to do best. I have multiple shares of the contenders except for Judi's Moni ( none right now). Al, or anyone who is at the Next Generation I'm pretty sure I'll be there. If it's dry out I'm always on the apron. Come say hi.

Of course, I would love to see Capistrano Nights and Tomboy Strong be in the Next Gen.

Capistrano Nights needs to go on the same trajectory as Gorgeous Package and Tomboy Strong has to keep on keeping on.

I'm always on the apron also. Try to get close to finish line and walk over to winners circle to see all the happy people.

I guess I should head to Scioto instead of Dayton, if I want to see the races live! ( I don't know why I always get confused about those two tracks)

I’ll certainly be following along if this interesting idea takes hold.

I'm eagerly awaiting Anthony's promised Two-Year-Old Top 10 list that he mentioned yesterday was forthcoming.

Nothing yet on the video.  Snail pacing across the country with truck and travel trailer, as we push the warmer weather east.  The evening viewing of RTN and Woodbine Mohawk keeping me entertained.  Hope to see all of you soon at a track or training facility.
