Please Help me Choose a New Betting App
Quote from Lonnie on March 23, 2025, 1:51 PMI'm frustrated with Xpressbet's video limitation. There's a monthly video allowance quota, which is based on the amount of money you bet in the prior month. Once you reach that magical limit, you're blocked from watching further videos with a message to that effect. It further states that you can watch that race IF you place a minimum $2.00 wager. I have done that and still, the video doesn't display. Call me Displeased.
I'm infuriated with FanDuel. There's a complete lack of caring (just about harness racing?). They never display late driver changes. If you're not watching the video, you are unaware. But, what really galled me was last night if you look at the entries and results of the races, it shows Hunter Myers listed (he passed away THREE days ago in that tragic accident). How could no one there notice or care? I guess that all they care about is money and putting forth an inferior product. I'm disgusted by their neglect and insensitivity. I am so done with FanDuel.
This leads me to the subject of this post. Who should I use to gamble with my hard-earned cash?
A few facts I would consider are:
- Sign-up bonuses
- Program purchase rebates (kudos to Xpressbet for offering those)
- Reliable video streaming
What app do you use? Do you recommend/endorse it? Feel free to share any negatives too.
Thank you in advance for sharing your opinion!

Quote from MaywoodAl on March 24, 2025, 10:12 PMAt home I stream FanDuel (was TVG when I signed up). I can get individual tracks. I do not bet with it. Very limited on replays. New feature added that I hate, is at end of some races asks if I want to switch tracks. Never had that before.
I know you are angry with them, but they did show the Hunter tribute from Northfield.
For betting apps I started with DRF many years ago. I only like to bet while I am at track or some big races, so I do not use it much. I can watch replays and live, but do not very frequently, so have not run into limitations yet.
I also added Twin Spires since I was not able to bet the Kentucky Derby on DRF. So far no problems watching live or replays. Can get free PPs for t-bred as long as you end up making a bet for that card. Unfortunately not available for harness. But a few harness tracks do have free ones.
Not on replays, I only have watched day of. Have not found a way to watch other days. can usually get that from track website,
