Vicious thunderstorm that seemed to be sitting over Lexington dumping inches of rain in a short amount of time.  I was shadowing the paddock judge today, and he spent a great deal of time getting horsemen input and facilitating communication with the Presiding Judge.  They made a decision to race the rest of the stake races as non betting races before the upcoming Sunday card.  The 2 year old filly trotters were not scheduled to race next week, so it works.

Hard to tell with the angle, to me it looked like Holding Pattern was the instigator.
