   When did Team USA become the Globetrotters and not the Washington Generals? Best we've ever looked in the World Cup. Fun to watch. Eventually though water will find it's level.  🙂

In 1994 I went to three games, the opening game of Germany V Bolivia, Germany V Spain and Spain V Bolivia. I found one ticket, Spain/Bolivia face was $25, I think I paid $10. I did pay face for the opener, I think $30. Paid $15-20 for other game.

Where I was living at the time the El I took went past the hotel OJ was at. After the opening game went to a bar and watched OJ and the bronco.

Those were the first soccer games I ever went to. I knew nothing about soccer. Didn't go to another game until my kids started playing.

A few T-Bred tracks still have an admission charge. Breeders Cup general admission is $85 for Friday and $159 for Saturday plus a steep parking price. Prices not yet released, I think it was $75 per day the last time it was at Keeneland.

The claiming series seems to be filling a nice niche, as it helps to keep decent 3 year olds out of the higher NW condition claiming classes until later in the year.  The Stable is certainly making good use of the option, instead of scrambling for checks in the Buckeye series.  And 25k tag is nothing to sneeze at for non upper level regional stake horses.
