Talk to the hoof!

Tremendous respect for the Burke Brigadeā€™s accomplishments. Ā Seems to me that Anthony and TheStable run a mini version of the same game plan by having options open to race in multiple jurisdictions. Ā My favorite part of Ronnie Burke is that he never ducks The Jug! Ā And A Mac respects him. Ā That is good enough for me.

Well said!Ā  I don't know how he does it at the level he does it.Ā  But, then again, I don't know how Anthony does everything he does too.Ā  It takes a village.Ā  Anthony has a great system, and the website is so informative.Ā  It always keeps me in the know (though the entries get delayed a few days sometimes).Ā  And the time he spends on the videos and responding to emails, texts, and calls, yet he somehow manages to have family time too.Ā Ā

Hmmm, I got distracted.Ā  This is a thread about Ron Burke.Ā  Sorry about that.Ā  Carry on!

I've heard rumors.Ā  Can anyone dispel them for me?

I have heard probably the same rumors, but I don't speak of it, since I don't know if there any truth to them.

I am assuming that you are referring to his months long suspension from earlier this year. Ā If not, then ignore me.

There is plenty of public information available for one to read with a strategic amount of digging.

There are some interesting news articles on the home page of the USTA webpage right now. Ā
Hopefully my file link is correct.

If you have a USTA active membership, then you also have access to the ā€œpathwaysā€ feature, where you can research all actions against any individual within the USTA jurisdiction. Ā This includes any US based client of the stable! Ā Yes, I have looked up myself. Ā A humorous anecdote being that our favorite guy, A Mac, gets pinched on occasion for something his generation of driving did as common as the sun rising in the east. But that action is regulated to a stricter standard today. Ā His infraction generally cost him $100 a pop, or a weekā€™s worth of Starbucks.
Can anyone find what it is?

Anyway, I would love to have a roundtable live discussion in person. Ā Who will be a the Jug in Delaware, Ohio?

I noticed recently that Anthony has received a few fines for excessive whipping.Ā  I've watched many of his drives the last three months, and I have never noticed it.

Oh my gosh, I, and three friends will be at Delaware Ohio for the entire Jug week.Ā  I'd love to go for dinner one night, and anyone else who would like to join us as well.Ā  That's a smashing idea!!

Have you seen how much Starbucks he buys?Ā  His habit maybe costing him over $100.00/day... especially considering he's got Amy and Ava hooked on it as well.

This wasn't Burke's first suspension, and people jump to conclusions because he's been so ultra successful that there has got to be something to explain their success aside from good feed and water.Ā  People get jealous, so I don't always believe the accusations, knowing that it may stem from jealousy.

Yeah, you can only use elbow and wrist action. Ā It is a worthwhile regulation in my opinion. Ā He just gets excited sometimes and gets that shoulder into it. Ā To his defense, I have never seen him do it excessively or even go to the whip when the horse is clearly not able to advance for money.
