I haven't and none of y'all actually have likely first hand seen Ron Burke or anyone in his charge give an active horse he trains and or trains and owns an illegal, un-testable non-allowed substance.
He runs a huge operation and has had multiple positives over the years, are they disproportional high to his stable's size, probably not, no. Is contamination and bad testing a possible culprit, sure.
He trains at a ridiculously high win & itm % year after year, and leading money all time money winning. Consistently.
He, and his connections are very wealthy, and can afford a defense if he, his horses were tasked with a threat of a long term suspension, ban. Anyone that would fail to successfully prosecute that allegation would likely cost their jurisdiction humiliation and tons of money, maybe their job, others, even an election possibly. He is very formidable and almost too intimidating to go the distance against or start some bs with.
Has enough money if he wanted to, to buy anyone corruptible, he can provide information on live horses that could earn lots of money too. Has that happened, I don't know.
He has tons of friends and connections and his enemies are not as powerful as him and them, typically.
There are performing enhancing substances, other substances that improve a horses health NOT approved that cannot be tested for, and surely not allowed.
If the Lord showed up and said to me I know the answer if Ron Burke is corrupt or not, if you answer correctly I will let your family live, if you answer incorrectly or don't answer, your family is dead, you must now answer - My (guess) answer: Ron Burke has been corrupt, juiced, sure, done it all - not every time or predominantly but he's done bad.
