I don't think there's any fixing that gait, but he stayed flat and more horses finish behind him that in front of him.

@bearcookie56 Being in Ohio my reason for buying in was I thought he'd just be a fair horse and I'd be able to see him race without having to drive for hours. I have to say I'm kind of surprised he's held his own in his 2 races so far, I just hope if he ever gets a win I'm right there with him.

That would be great, you could travel to his races and enjoy it! I spend my summer watching all of the Ohio, Iowa and Illinois fair races, too far for me to get to but they’re fun on You Tube..To be fair ,today he had an awful post,  let’s hope for an improved one next time!

I was watching the replay of Oak Harbor and saw your name pop-up in the chat. I think that would have been a good place for Chief and a couple of the other 2 year old that are in at Scioto Thursday with long odds to gain some experience. Plus $7500 purses aren't bad for a Fair.

Also, where else can you watch harness racing from your jet ski ?

yes! Anthony had said all along that Chief was destined for the Ohio fair circuit, I loved it! nothing better than watching all the fair racing from Ohio , Illinois abd even Iowa! I think he would do great there, and you're right, the purses are quite fine!
