Six Horses? ~24 Hours? Why Not?!!

I am sooooo tempted. Though I wish one of my friends were able to join me.

Tomorrow night, Miss Lady May is racing in the Excelsior Series at Tioga Downs. Post 2 with Anthony.  Dropping out of the NYSS where on her last race she wasn't herself. She should do well here, don't you think?

Four hour drive home. I should arrive by 1:30 AM or so.

But wait!  There's an option!  Isn't there always?

Pittsburgh, or Washington, PA, if you must is a lot closer than going home. And...

On Saturday, Timeisonmyside and JK Maga are racing at The Meadows.  Unfortunately, JK Maga will not be driven by Anthony. He's the only driver who gets along with JK.  I'm fine with Mike Wilder driving Timer. He will also drive JK Maga.

Seven hour drive home from The Meadows.

But wait!  There's another option.  Northfield Park is just over two hours away.  And...

Racing Saturday night at Northfield Park in the "fair" races are Tomboy Strong (probably making her last start for TheStable as she will be in the Preferred Equine Online Auction this weekend.  Also on the card are Judy's Moni and What A Houdini.  Judy and Houdini both drew the rail (Tomboy is starting from post 9 in the second tier).

Of the six horses racing in less than 28 hours, only one of the horses are morning line favorites.  That would be JK Maga.

What's a fanboy to do?

Correction:  What A Houdini is the only morning line favorite. He's 7/5.

Jason Merriman has six drives for The Stable at Northfield Saturday night, that came as kind of a surprise, but he's no slouch. Three or four years ago he had eight wins on one card at Northfield, hopefully he keeps driving.

Right now, I prefer him over Tyler.

I went home after Tioga Downs. Not because Miss Lady May raced poorly (she flipped her palate), but I just dreaded the post time drags at Northfield Park and after a long enough day as it would have been, that would have just made the drag excruciating.
