The Battle of Bunker Hill [Ed: Handicapping Contest!]

PreviousPage 3 of 3

Mori simply got away too far back----long summer he will be fine

Brett Beckwith caused chain reaction interference in the last turn

the 4 ran into the 10 who then interfered with Arrowhead.

Fine the Judges for being incompetent, not even an inquiry.

I don't think he interfered.  I seen it live and watched the replay a dozen times.  We didn't have the best view.  Tight quarters for sure, causing AMac to check and possibly a third or fourth place finish.  He wasn't finishing first or second even if it was clean.  Here's a different take on the finish ..... I don't know if Brett wins but he defiantly got caught sleeping coming down the lane.  Once he cleared at the top of the lane, he stopped driving.  Halfway down he looks over and sees Dunn charging, it was to late at that point.  Does he win, maybe not but it's a photo at the wire.  I'm a huge Stable.ca fan but let's be honest, Arrowhead was a false favorite in that field at 8/5.  The reason I invested, (heavily) was because he was ML favorite.  He should've been second or third, maybe fourth choice in that field.  Maybe I'm biased, if Beckwith wins I'm a happy man this morning.

I didn't think he would go off as the Favorite.  That surprised me.

The win pool was only $8500, I'm not sure how many owners Arrowhead has but it wouldn't take many to move the line.

It's going to be a fun race to watch.  Most show speed and you can make a case for several.

1-My Degenerate, just missed a head in the Dexter after sitting behind a 2/5 horse who got away with a 59 middle half.

2-Global Sensation, razor sharp but hasn't raced against this level.  Came a last half in 55.2 last week, blocked with no urging.  Like several in here, watch out if he gets a trip.

3-Variegated, obvious choice, hoping he's little short in his first start.

$201.80 trifecta box!  Did you cash it?

Not over thinking this as a certified non-wagering fan.

  1.  Variegated (Dunn ain’t going to Plainridge for fun)
  2.  Arrowhead Hanover (chased the 2025 Hambo winner in last…crazy talk, but write it down … in pencil)
  3.  Goo Goo Gone (nips Memento Mori for the show dough)

Winner on top!  Well done!!

Cashed multiple tickets.  Really needed Global Sensation to win.  The more I watched his previous race the more I went all in.  Side note, I don't "gamble" on a daily basis.  I only bet a couple of races a year. There has to be something that gets my attention beyond the program.  With that said, Arrowhead has my attention.  ML, post time beaten favorite.  Interfered with but won't show on his race line.  The trip in general. Don't under estimate the competition.  Variegated and My Degenerate (and others) are serious players.  Will be following but there has to be some value.
