Next week I will be at the Ohio Select Sale for Thursday inspection day, picking AMac’s brain.  He will be tired of me by day’s end.  Friday sale.  Back to Red Mile for Sunday, maybe Monday.  Then to Delaware Tuesday-Thursday.  BE THERE!

SMH.  So Jolene is racing back at 7 days, but one of those days is shipping 6-7 hours from Lexington to Northfield.    Why not just train her up and prepare her for the additional 2 hour ship to Delaware for her BSS the following week?

They are now conditioning these superior breeds like their thoroughbred cousins, but then racing them like they are ready to work.  No wonder most of them can’t finish a mile……so much for relaxing.  

And Ed, I almost bid on your now deleted $9,999 knowing I could back out and yet find out the culprit. Hilarious.  Thx for calling out the absurdity of the private market.  See you soon and we can kick back at the  famed Delaware oval.

Not to be.   3 wide backstretch move but was still 3 wide around last turn. Briefly grabbed the lead at head of stretch but got swallowed up by the majority of the field in last 1/16th.  You better be able to finish at this level.

I left early so I could enjoy the beautiful drive home in the pre-sunset moments.  Should have pulled over for a picture…dang it.  Beautiful horse farms nearly all the way from Lexington to Frankfort.  Looking forward to Delaware tomorrow as we are nearly packed and ready to roll back north.
