Time battled admirably like always coming first up and hanging tough for well deserved second.

I spoke with Tim Twaddle and his second trainer Dean. You can sense how much they love this horse.

This horse has decided he's not racing until the stretch

It's time to send this guy to Mohawk, NOT PEI

He's always too far back on a 5/8, He'll be terrible on a half

Mike never raced him to win. Take them to last and you rarely finish well.
I do think he should not go to PEI. But he is going.

Like @niekh said, it seems like the decision has been made to go to PEI. Agreeing that it's a long trip, it's going to be expensive to send him there (and back), and who knows what's waiting for him there. His efforts on 1/2 mile tracks haven't been stellar.

That said, we will wait to see how he does in the elimination and what post, assuming he advances, he has in the final before we will decide whether to go or not.
