It lost it's luster when the streak was broken, and then again...time to re-strategize and luster, lube it, grease it up good lol, let's make it exciting again...
Running the Belmont Stakes at Saratoga was nuts at 1 1/4 mi even worse...
I do not want to move the weeks, that's what makes it challenging and please let's make the Belmont 1 1/2 mile again.
For a while back when there was a Triple Crown bonus of $5mil, that ended, bring it back and make it $10mil...after all who hosts it with NBC - CDI, Stronach, NYRA - they can afford it....and another $5 mil bonus each race if you break Secretariat's record time for that race. That's a total of $25 mil in straight bonus potential alone (not including purses)!
Only the first 20 horse and AE's that get in the Derby are eligible for the 3 races, no more fresh horse entries, cherry picking their races, enough of that bs.
