If it wasn't for Mike Wilder, TheStable.ca would have won all three races that they were in at the Meadows this afternoon.

When are they bringing the big guy to Ohio?  They are racing for $36K in the Open.  Even the Open 2 and the rest of the under classes are way more productive vs. what The Meadows is serving up.  Maybe when Ohio shifts east to Scioto in a few weeks, Tim Twaddle will be more willing to go where the $$$ are.

Also, Time seems to have a pattern of high performance, slight drop, rest and back to form.  Rest him for a few weeks and rock it at Eldorado Scioto Downs!

Today's NW9500L4  at The Meadows that Time raced in, went for $12K. On Sunday a NW9000L4 is going for $22.5K at Miami Valley. Time has $9,060 in L4 so does not fit, but purses are close to twice as much at Miami vs The Meadows.

Great to see Time enjoying some R&R

Must be a lot of Casino money flowing into their coffers.  I've seen races there where the purse was more than the betting handle.

1000% casino money, which is why they need to diversify income streams while the times are good.  Kentucky has the horse culture to provide momentum.  Ohio and Indiana will need ingenuity.  The other jurisdictions?

 Simple economics
$32,000 Open 2 vs. $18,000 Open at The Meadows.  Timeisonmyside rewards his connections with an “easy” 1:50.1 score.  He races great on the front, so I give Aaron Merriman credit for the quarter pop and putting distance between him and the other contenders.
