Or a driver and/or a trainer?

Curious minds want to know!

My uncle owned, trained, and drove as a side hustle.  His full time job was a steel worker, and he did his training at the end of his shift.

It was always cool in the earliest days when I would have been between 5-10 years old to go to the track with my family (Scioto, old Lebanon Raceway, Northfield or a county fair track) and watch intently for his driving colors.  Blue, Black, and White.

When I got old enough to be more help than a hindrance, I would live with my uncle during the summer months and any long weekend and school break in which I could catch a ride.  I was hooked.

Cool story!
