Who's going to the win the 2024 Kentucky Futurity?

The futurity is today.  I wish it were two heats.  But, I'm excited at how the race will shake out.  The obvious favorite is Karl, but he drew post-position 11.  It should make for interesting driving decisions.

How do you feel the race will shake out, and who do you think will reign supreme this afternoon at the Red Mile?

The race page is attached.

Talk to the hoof!

I'm going with a longshot, Tony Adams S.

Why?

  1. The horse hasn't gotten beaten up this year, and could be the freshest.
  2. The way I visualize the trip, he's got a great post, and I think he'll be in great position to swoop by.
  3. Ake Svanstedt is the training.  He's red hot.
  4. Dexter Dunn is driving.  He's been Mr. Amazing at The Red Mile, seemingly winning every big race.  This is the biggest race of the meet, it closes out Grand Circuit week, and the meet.  So, why not go out flying with the red-black-white colors of Dexter Dunn.

What say you?

I'm always against Karl. Respect his greatness just not a fan of 1-9 shots. I like Highland Kismet but McClure is worrisome. If I had a fictional 50.00 bucks. 1.00 tri box 356. 4.00 ex box 356. 20 win on longest odds between 5 and 6.

I've never played a tournament in horse racing. Could we get a Invitational Field only at a website that does stuff like that for a modest fee of 20.00- 50-00 per entry? Breeders Crown Night? Might be fun.

Amazing Catch

A gut feeling that this one is the one in the right place at the right time, and picks up Canada's finest James MacDonald.  Though losing Dexter Dunn to Tony Adams S could be telltale.  Both horses are trained by Ake Svanstedt.  I can see why Lonnie went with Tony Adams S.

Interesting concept.  Do you know of any websites that offer a tournament like this?
