Think you know soccer, err, football?

As if you didn't know then, we have reached the Elite 8 round.  The Quarter-finals.  Eight countries left standing.  But who will win?

We know you know.  So, now we want to know what you know.  

Pick the winner!  The Final game will be played on Sunday, July 19, 2026, at the New York - New Jersey (aka MetLife) Stadium.

Simple contest.  Pick the winner!

First tiebreaker.  Who will be the runner-up (i.e. the loser of the Final game).

Second tiebreaker.  Who will win the Golden Boot (most goals in the tournament).  Messi currently leads, but the others are hot on his heels.

I've gotten so hooked on this World Cup.  Once the Round of 32 started, I think I have watched every game.  And all of them were spectacular, except for two games.  That's a lot of entertainment that I'm getting for my $19.99 subscription to Fox One.  I will cancel the subscription after the Final.

Agree, it's been great. I can see Morocco giving France trouble today. #19 on Spain that kid is special. Too young to be mentioned with all these goal scoring strikers. But his future is special.

It’s good to see football finally getting properly shown in the US. It is one of the biggest sports in the world. Even if I do not plat anymore or follow it that closely. It is a part of everyday life here. Especially when the national team plays!
