The issue with International racing is that the past performance programs are very sparse of information. From a fan's perspective, nothing is more exciting! North American harness racing is so boring. One of the many reasons why people have lost interest.
Check out this link (below) click on the drop down next to the odds for the pps for Milan Italy today race 4. The race finish was 536, they only paid win and place, 100-1 finished 2nd with $1 place on her lol. The deadest pools imaginable. Win pool $343, place $37, not even a thousand in all the wagering pools for that race. But a $13,546 purse, they must have a better welfare system there than here. I'm sure we can find a decent track with races in Europe, New Zealand, Australia with good pps, healthy pools and I'd do research, watch videos, get to know the standings for trainers, drivers....
But importantly these US, Canadian guys are not hungry why its boring and frustratingly unpredictable. They pick their spots, cheat, they're lazy, for them it's always the next time, some trainers are drugging in cycles. How a Dexter Dunn was "created" gate swings open with 20+ horses and the cream rises to the top. These horses there that make $60k in purses come here and if they stay healthy make their owners tons of cash, going from 1 1/2 +/- races on tough track surfaces to sprints at a mile on fast tracks.
