I try so hard, and it's not enough, I miss so much that is happening, I don't come close to getting a grasp and tapping in, I don't exploit enough and become vulnerable too often.
I work solo, they work solo, we chat, but I as of yet to make it happen.
You have eyes and ears, experiences on so much, you share, and you now have a consolidated central location here to be unified and communicate.
You are all very fortunate to have each other. đ„Č

I don't know if something like that is even possible. You can get 20 people to look at a race and get 20 different opinions. How would they reconcile? What method? Eventually someone with the strongest opinion would outweigh others, and then the other 19 would just look to that one person.
Just my two cents. I could be, and am probably, wrong.

Let's use 20 people as an example and I want to take down a track - let's say a big one that gets handles like $1mil+ per race, literally know as much and the ins and outs, bet the track primarily and follow some of the participant horses when they leave.Â
Not everyone is studying the race and or figuring out how to wager, most everyone with the exception of the boss and the investor will be compartmentalized. You have some who have an expertise in profiling the horse, equine sciences. You have insiders who can if not already establish a rapport and have access to the paddock. Others who can socialize with horsemen, play cards, drinking, chatting up with vets, judges, trainers and owners possibly asking private purchase questions. Then you have your also on-track people watching everything prior to and including races each given a horse to follow in a race.Â
Then you have meetings where info is dropped and discussed together with those who are going to analyze everything including the weather, track conditions for a given race, handicap, run various race scenarios. Until decisions are made with a Certainty Rating - then deciding if wagers will be strategized.
Then those wagering experts discussing how to maximize potentially making money, what races, how to bet, predicting odds, bridge jumper pools, multi-leg wagers, carryovers, guaranteed pools, and putting those strategized wagers together. Another group who works closely with wagering experts placing the wagers and communicating to them any late changes, patterns, results, whether to add, cancel, alter wagers.
A considerable start up capital that can handle @ $40,000 a week in salaries, expenses, benefits, plus profit sharing for everyone - while each of participants compensation is determined by the level of their efforts, skill uniqueness, and expertise, ultimately consistency in accuracy and success. Of course most importantly hundreds of thousands of dollars available at all times to bet a race, card. Now a track that takes in $1mil plus a race in pool action, racing 4-5 days week for 4 months is about $1bil in play. This would need an investor start-up of about $5mil who would be the major profit share participant and an inside boss, a GM as the 2nd highest paid and most experienced that will hire, train, supervise, fire and oversee all the meetings and the entire operation. There will also be an information referral program for unlimited outsiders, their info proves out with consistency they get a nice fee and get to keep coming back to drop info.
That's my ideal take down team.

Quote from SC Upstate on October 3, 2024, 9:40 AMWho is in the buckets should be out any minute. Â Looks like both the high end pacer and trotter will be filled with two horses. Â He had several trotters on his list, some blew through to $200-$300. Others he was relatively close on but who knows how high the bids would've gone. Â Two observations - 1-AMac sticks to his number, which is really good because 2- Takters, A. Harris and so many more have no limits. Â It's been a really fun and informative week in Lexington.
