Living down in horse heaven now, I can’t imagine a better place to raise and race horses.  Somewhere earlier I included “keeping a horse mentally content” was a key to a successful racing career.  The mineral rich limestone soils and abundance of boarding facilities to turn out your horses…wow.  Then train and race them in their early careers on forgiving clay track of The Red Mile.  

Opening day is this Sunday evening.  Planning on being there.

As Bowie you crooned ch ch ch changes. Sold both shares of Sara, basically a give away. Bought another share of Meghan. Hunch, she's getting better. Uncle Peter's can develop slow hoping she follows the path of Sweet On Pete. Three shares of Meghan now paid 290.00 ca. I believe I'm six horses eleven shares.

  It's my experience with The Stable Bear the expensive yearlings have to be a net negative. I'm never paying over a 1000.00 for a share and because of licensing never buying in NY or NJ so I'm limited in my purchases. Stick with your plan, you'll find one or more. Good luck going forward. 

   Three of my horses are yearlings for next year. I only have four racing. Tom and Meghan in Ohio. Zina and now Jolene in KY. Excited for Wednesday.

@bearcookie56. If my memory serves, you are 2 for 2 with your 2 year olds being competitive in their respective jurisdictions.  That’s encouraging.  It will be special when they score their first wins.  Good luck.
