I thought it was a great race for Zina, parked the whole mile and still hold on to third? She should be even better her next start, not sure what Tony could  have done different..

Couldn't he have taken up. Let Zina go and sat in the pocket? I missed the race was at dentist. Had a better time at the freaking dentist. Zina raced great. But Zina needs to race against her own kind. 2yo's. Too hot out to be parked the mile against older. I hope you're right she's better in her next start. Parked the mile in the heat against older I'm not so sure.

Norm, I'm trying to hold back how I really feel. That pissed me off.

I thought she went a huge mile.  I didn't see a hole for her to fill, and he didn't kill her to try to make the top.  She didn't cave in at all.

He lets her go. Re-takes. That's all this game has become these days. Instead he went 1970's and hung her the mile. It's okay. Hopefully a payback is coming his way and it's served ice freaking cold.

Tough trip. Last day of meet, so that race was only option. ( I also think that Oak Grove does not have 2 year old maiden races)

If moving on to the Red Mile, I wonder what division Anthony picks.

I hear you.  Hate to see babies (2 year olds) against older.  As long as the driver didn’t discourage her…ie. beat on her, then I am ok.  Otherwise, I would take that whip and …. I thank that I am about to divulge from the program, which I can live with that.

I meant “I think that I am about to diverge from the program”.  Damn AI.  Let me say what I want to say.  I don’t give a rat’s a$$ about winning a 2 year old maiden in July if it ruins the horse for life as a racehorse.

Sorry about the extra comments.

I hear you! Like I said before, I wouldn’t mind if I had to wait until their 3 year old calendar, for them to race, I thought Anthony was going to do that with Ridin the Rodeo..

I've been asking that for nearly a month. He won't commit. I think the bottom leg is called the Golden Rod. That's what I'm hoping for. A productive season on a track that's easiest on the horses. I love Lexington. Keeneland is amazing, Red Mile is great but something about Fasig Tipton is perfect Kentucky to me. I still get goosebumps walking in there.
