@bearcookie56-You're welcome, I know that it's not the best option for everyone but wanted to make sure you knew it was an option. Those are a couple of pretty nice horses and it's a shame you might have to give them up over a licensing issue. Good Luck.

I bought the two homebreds over the summer when the Stable put them up for sale. I bought one share of the Ohio Bucket expensive horse. Had first rites and bought Bella Dayle, and a couple others listed. Didn't think I'd buy much more after that. Kept liking more, emailed Anthony about Prada, Shazam, Sundae if he had room I'd like shares. He did have room and I purchased more. I'm maxed out, never had this many shares.

Quote from Purple Aura on November 9, 2025, 7:10 PMNo idea who I move on from. That's determined watching them and others train down. I tend to like the horses Anthony doesn't drive in the baby videos. He's by far the best driver of the crew, has his way. I like watching late rallies from others. Jolene and Zina were both like that last year. Still regret not selling Zina for all that $$$$$. Worst move of season by me. ALWAYS take the money you'll rarely regret it.

- The NJ-bred became Mordechai Hanover.
- The NY-bred became Miss Lady May.
Our current roster:

We just purchased a second share of Miss Lady May from the Public Market, and a second share of Tomboy Strong from the Private Market at $230 CAD.
We are maxed out at 17 horses. And, we own 22 shares in total. I do have an eye on a share to double up one of our horses. But, it's awaiting "Board Approval" to consummate that purchase.

I am not sure my worst move, not selling Zina or Tomboy Strong. I may have it mixed up but I think there was a $1,200 CAD for Zina and $1,000 CAD for Tomboy. Ouch

" Board Approval " Not sure I could work that way. I'm too independent. Years ago a friend and I split a football fantasy team in a rather expensive league. Almost lost a friendship. I finally let him have the reins after nearly every decision he made was the wrong one. He apologized after the season knowing he messed up. I told I prefer him as a friend and not a partner. He agreed. Good luck to Team NY and The Board going forward. I like double shares. Keep one share hopefully sell one at a profit that pays for both shares.

It's all good. We keep each other in check. And the friendship has remained intact. As much as I'm trying to make money, we know this is fun, and we try to keep our decisions reasonable and respectful.
Double shares are something we just started considering. I'm with you. Especially at this time of the year, owning double shares as the prices are very low now... Biding our time and expecting/hoping that prices will rise as the soon-to-be two-year-olds start to train down.
