Lonnie strikes first!

Did I place any bets?  Of course not!

I see that I picked a horse in the sixth race that isn't even in the field!  HA!  I guess that's a no-pick then from me.  #dumbass

Micro-fractional owned Bacio!  Fractional ownership is the way to go!

Congrats to @bgtolex25 for picking the winner and moving into first place at the quarter pole.

Oh my gosh, what program was I looking at??

My pick in the 8th race, Mullikin, isn't in the field either.

And my pick, Magnitude, in the Classic is a scratch.

Talk about being handicapped in a handicapping challenge.  Well, this takes the cake.

One third of the Breeders' Cup races are now in the books, and our intrepid handicappers aren't faring all that well.  Kudos to @maywoodal for scratching onto the winning favorite.

Presented to the judges is a plea by Lonnie, asking for the scratch rule to apply to his two selections who aren't even racing.  This may take time to adjudicate his plea.

Here are the current standings:

Talk to the hoof!

BOOM!  @maywoodal shoots to the lead with his expert selection of T O Elvis, while Lonnie continues to find the hard way to the winner's circle by selecting another horse who wasn't even on the card, much less in the starting gate.

The action should pick up from here as the 2x multipliers are in effect, and the 5x and 7x are still to come.

Talk to the hoof!

Race 10 Summary:  The 1x and 2x races are done.  Now comes moving time: the 5x, and then the 7x grand finale.

Lonnie scratches into the favorite in the 7x finale, which is likely not one that was selected by our intrepid handicappers.  Could he sneak up the rail to grab the Cup🏆?  Time will tell!

Talk to the hoof!

Race 11 (the penultimate leg):  WOWZA!  Talk about handicapped handicapping.  Despite picking two horses that weren't even racing, lookie who just catapulted into the lead!?!!

Talk to the hoof!

*** FINAL RESULTS ***

@purple-aura timed his move perfectly.  Saving everything he had for the last race and the 7x multiplier, with a bang, a solid second with longshot The Puma!

Congratulations!!

Congratulations, @purple-aura!!
