Quote from Purple Aura on March 12, 2025, 9:46 AMSomeone else must have liked Bobbie's runout. My last share is now sold. The buyer is a driver at Pocono. We've transacted twice now. I bought a share of Sara off him just after the sale.

Last share of Bobbie that you had for sale or last share that you owned of Bobbie?

Why did you sell?
Because I get excited at the sales and always over buy. Right now I have 16 shares. I will sell about half of them by stake season. Tell myself during stake season don't buy as many come sale time. And yet, it's wash, rinse, repeat. 🙂
Sold Bobbie for way more than I paid. I have three other Ohio filly trotters. I deemed Bobbie the worst of the four and still getting a good price at this moment. I could be wrong, she might be the best of a talented bunch. I'll never root against her. I never root against a Stable horse. The odd time I'm in the same race as one, I root harder for mine but not against The Stable.

Quote from Purple Aura on March 29, 2025, 10:46 AMNo change. Tomboy Strong and Emerald Tom. Two shares of Tomboy none of Emerald.
As we head into April is it time we see more nose to helmet? It seems nearly every set three horses break away there's a gap of three lengths and usually three horses behind in the second group. I have a horse that always seems to be in that second group and comes rolling nice late. That's fine, I'd just like to see this horse nearer the lead once in awhile.
Good luck to all.

Quote from Bgtolex25 on March 29, 2025, 11:18 AMThoughts on Tomboy Strong:
- Machine like in her gait and on track disposition. Looks more like an aged trotter over any other in the barn.
- today’s effort so impressive. Followed cover as @purple-aura wants to see. Once she assumed 1st over position she just methodically moved forward. I saw no hesitation, no extra urging by the driver, but just her doing her thing.
- Asking anyone that has seen her in person, how is her body type and conformation? She looks good size on the track. With her flashy white stockings, I can’t tell if she is wearing boots or not.
- by far my front runner for Ohio trotting filly for Next Generation.
colts - still a crap shoot, but Uncle Danny stepped forward today
Good luck to all.
