The USTA is indefinitely suspending the USTA membership of Ms. Betty Jo Clegg for
violations of USTA Rule 26.16 (failure to submit information) and USTA Article § 1.04(a)(7)
(failure to furnish information requested to supplement a membership application). Ms.
Clegg failed to provide records and information requested by the Standardbred Racing
Investigative Fund (SRIF) in collaboration with the USTA pursuant to an investigation in
suspected violations of the USTAās Rules and Bylaws. As with the transfer of all ownership
interests in a registered Standardbred horse, the USTA will scrutinize all attempted
transfers of an interest in a Standardbred horse owned by Ms. Clegg to ensure that such
transfer complies with the USTAās Rules and Bylaws and reserves the right to not recognize
any such transfer. In addition, as Ms. Clegg is now indefinitely suspended, she is a "person
not in good standing" under USTA Rule 4.130 and horses and USTA members associated
with Ms. Clegg are subject to the applicable restrictions under USTA Rules Rule 20.15,
20.17, 22.05, 22.06, and 26.12. To ensure compliance with the USTAās Rules and Bylaws, the
USTA advises its members to consult with officials at the USTA before participating in
transactions or engaging in business activities involving registered Standardbreds with Ms.

violations of USTA Rule 26.16 (failure to submit information) and USTA Article § 1.04(a)(7)

Clegg failed to provide records and information requested by the Standardbred Racing
Investigative Fund (SRIF) in collaboration with the USTA pursuant to an investigation in

confirmed an overage of Phenylbutazone at 0.460 µg/mL which is over the allowed 0.3
µg/mL which is a violation of 810 KAR 8:030 Section 4 ā 3 ā A ā 1. Mr. Alagna requested a
split sample that was sent to the Analytical Chemistry Laboratory of California Animal
Health and Food Safety which confirmed with CA-POS-002099 that sample #622058 had a
concentration of 0.373 µg/mL with a level of uncertainty of 0.043 µg/mL which is over the
allowed 0.3 µg/mL. At a formal hearing Mr. Alagnaās was allowed to present evidence and
testimony to the Board of Judges. After hearing all facts presented the Board of Judges
makes the following ruling. #1 Up In Place is hereby disqualified and is 3rd placed 9th and
the total purse amount of $12,000.00 (Twelve Thousand Dollars) must be returned to the
Red Mile by certified check or money order. Furthermore, since this is Mr. Alagnaās first such
violation in 365 days and due to mitigating factors he is hereby issued a $500.00 (Five
Hundred Dollar) Fine.

appeared before a representative of the New York State Gaming Commission. Robert Dill,

Commission rules 4120.4(A), 4120.3(A)(6), and 4120.3(C). Pursuant to stated violations
Trainer Robert Dill is hereby issued a full suspension of their occupational license for a

Shadow was tested by the Ohio Department of Agriculture ATL and was found to contain
over the allowable level of furosemide. At a concentration of 140 + - 8 nanograms per
milliliter of plasma. This concentration exceeds the regulatory threshold of 100 nanograms
per milliliter adopted by the O.S.R.C. Mr. Burke requested a split sample which did confirm
over the allowable level of furosemide. Mr. Burke had a hearing via phone with the judges
at Northfield Park on 11/23/25. This is Mr. Burke first medication violation in the last 365
days. He is hereby fined $1000. Night Shadow is disqualified and as a result of that
disqualification all purse money must be returned for redistribution ($10,000.00).if this ruling
