Injury, Courtois got injured and tried to continue but couldn't take long kicks anymore.

The tears were because this was his last world cup. He is getting older now.

He is one of the all time best goalkeepers. His sub is a 20yo talented lad, but its not the same level.

Thibaut knew that if another Spain goal came, it was most likely because of his injury.

The 2-1 by Spain would have never happened with him between the posts...

Three shaky(?) performances in a row by Argentina. I think that France is now the favorite to win the World Cup.

France always was the odds on favourite to be honest.

Argentina seems to play as well as it has too. It also seems FIFA is on board with getting them to the finals. Egypt really got screwed. England has the most pressure just because it's England. England has responded well to their coach and I think they win.

The other semi. I'm rooting Spain I think they can come close to matching the talent of France but they have moments where they play like mental midgets. I said at the start of this contest Spain vs Argentina. I'll stick with that but what like to swap both my picks. 🙂
