I see where you are coming from, but it is still a knockout stage round. It has to count, otherwise certain group stage matches should not count either when winning or loosing doesn't change the group results any more.
As a former goalkeeper I can always appreciate a good keeping, but the goal keepers were horrible on both sides. But man was this entertaining to watch. Great goals, great crosses, great passes.Â
In my opinion MbappĂ©Â deserves the golden boot. It is up to those playing in the final to match or exceed his goal count. The skill as a striker from MbappĂ© is beautiful to watch.Â

My favourite players to watch are fast wingers. One of my all time favourites to watch play was Ronaldinho.Â
